So you've just bought your new favourite candle.
You'll want to get the best heat throw and a nice clean burn from your candle
by following these simple steps you'll be well on your way to the perfect burn.
Each candle uses different waxes, wicks and different types of fragrance.
The instructions listed below are specific to The Aromatary wooden wick candles but can be applied to the majority of candles you can buy.
A nice flame is key for getting a nice even burn.
This also prevents any tunnelling of the wax, to achieve a perfect flame, keep your wick trimmed to roughly 4mm and remove any burned wood/ash from the wick.
(allow the candle to cool before attempting.)
We have found that if you don't have a wick cutter nail clippers work very well too.
To further prevent tunnelling, allow entire surface of the candle to melt before extinguishing flame. This can take up to 4 hours.
